Named after Princess Alexandra of Denmark and opened in 1870. The Park is located some three miles east of the City Centre of Glasgow. Features of the extensive Park include lawns, flower gardens, ponds, ornamental fountains, football pitches, a bowling green and a golf course. The highest point of the Park gives views North to Ben Lomond and South to the Tinto Hills. |
