Nicosia
( Lefkosia, Lefkoşa ) is the largest city
in Cyprus 
      and the capital and seat of government of the Republic of Cyprus. The northern part of Nicosia functions as the capital of the self-proclaimed Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The southern and the northern portions of Nicosia are divided by a UN Green Line.  |
