Limestone Outcrops at Shilin Stone Forest Shilin
( " Stone Forest
" ) is
a set of karst
( limestone ) formations in Yunnan
province of SW China
approximately 85km from the city of Kunming. The tall rocks emanate from the ground in a similar fashion to stalagmites - many look like trees thereby creating an illusion of a forest made of stone. |
